Opened in 2003, our second location is located in the heart of the Oakwood neighborhood. The wall panels and light fixtures in this building feature 1940’s architectural drawings and blueprint designs from the Bryant Paper Mill.
This location offers fresh-brewed house-roasted coffee and espresso drinks, fresh-squeezed juices made to order, hand-dipped Palazzolo’s gelatos and sorbettos, our incredible hand-made desserts and an expanded selection of our wonderful savories including soups, sandwiches, tarts, tortillas, fresh fruit, casseroles, deli items, pastas, and an array of salads. Our food is prepared in small batches using fresh Michigan-grown fruits and vegetables from the Bank St. Farmer’s market whenever possible. We also sell our freshly-roasted beans and a very cool and ever-changing selection of travel mugs and coffee paraphernalia. Art shows at both Water Street Coffee Joint locations change every two months and feature area artists in a variety of media.
