Artist Statement
I have been making Polaroid and Fuji Transfers for over four years now. I am intrigued by al the variables possible to create a unique and one of a kind photograph. Everything from the type of slide film I may choose to the paper I put the transfer on. The whole process is hands-on and personalized, including hand-cut mats.
This show is a montage of what I have done over this last winter. The images I create help tell the stories of my travels. The soft and silkiness of the transfers creates a memory or dream-like feeling that is timeless. I hope my photographs remind people of travels in their own lives.
