ECHO IN OUR EYES
What happens when five visual artists choose ECHOES as a theme to inspire their work? They explore echo as sound; echo as reflection; echo as memory; as an echo of the past, and brainstorm the translation into visual forms.
For this exhibit, metal-smiths Amy Culp, Maryellen Hains, Jeannette Maxey, Paul Mergen, and Bobbie Peters were challenged to create works of art in a jewelry format that could be presented on the wall in a gallery format. We hope you are informed by and enjoy this display of diverse vision and that you “connect” with the echoes that reverberate from each artist’s voice.
