These paintings are a big headache. I’ve been working hard on the them, no kidding, trying to sharpen them all up like a spiffy new suit. You wouldn’t want to head out to the big dance looking like a bum. What would your grandmother think? “What if you get in an accident?”
The paintings…you wouldn’t want to squander the opportunity to show your work and go to the place and hang a bunch of clunkers. Clunkers need to be explained away like…the sun was in my eyes…I ran out of time…I had to make do with a pastry brush…the dog kept trying to eat the canvas. I don’t like to explain my work. It’s either there or not. I think this is a solid group. I hope you like them.
